And she birthed Apostles Hendrix, Sun Ra, Stone & Clinton to preserve all funkiness of man unto eternity… But! Fraudulent forces of obnoxious jivation grew; Sun Ra strobed back to Saturn, to await his next reincarnation, Jimi was forced back into basic atoms; Sly was co-opted into a jester monolith… and only seedling Clinton remained! As it came to be, he did indeed, begat Funkadelic to temporarily restore Funk Within The Universe… but out of the temporal vacuum rose Disco Stew’s ferocious funk & stone-cold soul to conquer & envelop funky disco forevermore… The plea: Free Your Mind, and as a result of grooveation & Funkadelic causation; Your Ass Will Follow!
